Data Subject Rights
This document explains how OnPoint handles personal data across account, care, payment, communication, and support workflows. It is written to be readable by users and to align with the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 and the GAID 2025 implementation framework.
Available Requests
- Access to a copy of your personal data.
- Portability of exportable data.
- Rectification of inaccurate profile information.
- Restriction or objection for eligible processing.
- Erasure requests where the law permits deletion.
- Complaint submission to the DPO and then the NDPC if unresolved.
How to Use the In-App Workflow
Sign in and open Profile Privacy Settings. From there you can download your export, review consent history, manage privacy preferences, and submit privacy requests.
Some requests may require identity verification or may be partially denied where health-record, tax, fraud, or legal-hold obligations apply.
Response Handling
Requests are logged, reviewed, and assigned a status. When we cannot fully comply, we record the basis for the refusal or the part that remains legally required.
